Platform history
In 2016
- The Bilille platform led by H. Touzet and G. Marot was created thanks to the support of Université Lille 1 and Université Lille 2 to provide support for researchers in analysing data from their projects and developing bioinformatics tools.
In 2020
- The platform integrates the new born UMS/US PLBS (PLateformes Lilloises en Biologie et Santé) led by S. Crespin.
- The 2 first permanent positions are opened by Université de Lille and CNRS to recruit 2 research engineers.
- The EquipEx+ MuDiS4LS project supported by the Institut Français de Bioinformatique (IFB) was granted on December 18, 2020. Bilille as an IFB member is also a partner of this project.
In 2021
- P. Pericard and J. Vandel, newly recruited in the platform through permanent positions, take the technical head of Bilille whereas G. Marot takes the scientific head.
- The platform is labelled by the GIS IBiSA guaranteeing a first stage of quality level in the provided services.
In 2023
- Université de Lille has validated Bilille rates paving the way to a new service offering for the realisation of projects
- A 3rd permanent position is opened by the CNRS to recruit a technical engineer.
